Mrs. Stacey Martz

Vice Principal
I am honoured to be the new Vice Principal at St. Teresa of Avila School. I’ve been a proud member of Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools since 2004. My journey in education began right here at St. Teresa, where I spent the first 13 years of my career as a teacher. Those years helped shape my passion for Catholic education and my commitment to fostering a supportive, faith-filled learning environment.
Over the past several years, I’ve had the privilege of working in various schools across the city, gaining valuable leadership experience and learning from diverse school communities. I have served as a Vice Principal for the past six years and feel truly blessed to continue growing in this role. I believe it is important to work closely with families to support each child’s success. Open, honest communication is something I value deeply, and I always strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for students, staff, and parents alike. I look forward to supporting our students and staff as they grow in faith, knowledge, and confidence this school year.
When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my two teenage children, my husband, and our puppy. Camping, reading, baking and cheering for the Edmonton Oilers keep me busy and happy!
